International environmental law on the precautionary principle towards sustainablity on land matters

Abstract:

International environmental law principles provide the main framework for international cooperation among the international community in order to protect global environment and human habitat at the national, regional and international levels in order to ensure sustainability on land matters. One of the essential international environmental law principles is the precautionary principle. The use of international environmental law on the precautionary principle to the area of sustainability on land matters is largely in response to the necessity of every individual state to protect their rights and interests in order to safeguard the environment on land matters. Therefore, this paper examined the international environmental law on precautionary principle in relation to the sustainability on land matters from the international environmental legal perspectives; identify actions, which deal with the protection for the environment as well as a tool for the achievement in sustainable development on land matters.
