Abstract:This study aims to determine the factors that are effective on the producers willingness towards the construction of Laleli Dam. To achieve this, it will determine the expectations of the producers to “move their businesses to other regions”, “carry the whole village to another location” or “moving to the city” if the dam is built. It will also investigate the factors that are effective on these expectations. There is a negative relationship between the demand for the construction of the Laleli Dam and the agricultural revenue, business type, number of the poplar trees, and agricultural production; whereas there is a positive relationship between the demand for the construction of the Laleli Dam and the producers possession of the title to the property and the number of fruit trees on the property.
