Abstract:

The aim of the study was to determine the effects humic acids from three types of mineral soil, on in vitro rooting and growth adaptation ex vitro of two cultivars (‘Elsanta’, ‘Senga Sengana’) of strawberry. In the experiment the plantlets were rooted on Murashige and Skoog medium with the addition of the solution of humic acids at the concentration 1 and 5 mg·dm-3. HA was obtained from podsol, black earth and rusty soil. Strawberry rooted in vitro cultures were adapted to ex vitro conditions. Since there was no possibility of rooting the plants on MS medium without growth regulators, the plants from the medium supplemented with 1 mg·dm-3 IBA constituted control group. Obtained results indicated that the addition of humic acid to the medium at rooting stage had a more beneficial influence than auxins on the development of a root system and the mass of produced plants. Subsequent effect of humus on the development of plants at the stage of adaptation to ex vivo conditions was also proved.
