Analysis on demand and price of garlic in Madhya Pradesh India

Abstract:

The aim of the study was the price and demand of garlic in Madhya Pradesh and the dependence of demand on garlic. The study area was whole state of Madhya Pradesh from 2009 to 2018. Regression model was used for proving the hypothesis and the dependence of demand on price was shown through R² . The value of α and β were significant on the 0.005 level of significance. Calculated t value is 2.46 and R² 49.6% which means that demand depends 49.6% on price of garlic in Madhya Pradesh. Null hypothesis has been rejected and an alternative hypothesis has been accepted. The values come out through the model which is run on data in this research paper. It seems that there is direct relationship between price and demand of garlic.
