Study of water consumption characteristics for irrigation district based on different climate

Abstract:

The main factors of irrigation water consumption are precipitation and temperature. In the influence of climate factors on irrigation water consumption, the climate condition are determined by the temperature and rainfall play an important role in the time and space distribution of irrigation water and irrigation water consumption. In the paper, Baoji gorge irrigation area is seemed as the research object. Here, the average temperature of each area in the irrigation district is explored in the latest five years. The irrigation crop transpiration is analyzed from two parts irrigation district. Finally, the crops irrigation water and  effective rainfall have been considered, and the whole of  Baoji gorge irrigation water consumption is described. The study for impact of climate change on irrigation water consumption has very important scientific significance and application value to irrigation water resources planning, the optimizing configuration and the rational development in the environmental conditions change situation.
