Abstract:The law of tort on private nuisance plays an essential position in protecting mankind from contaminated daily food consumption in order to ensure safety. The application of the law of tort on private nuisance in the area of an individual’s protection is largely in reply to the need of every individual to ensure his rights and interests in daily food consumption. Therefore, this paper examines the application of the law of tort on private nuisance in dealing with the individual protection on the food hygiene safety from Malaysian legal perspectives. This paper also identifies cases and actions that deal with individual protection on contaminated daily food consumption from the Malaysian legal perspectives. Lastly, the law of tort is discussed on private nuisance as a means to protect individuals from contaminated daily food consumption in Malaysia towards environmental sustainability.
