Abstract:

The plant arrangement is one of the most important practices employed to obtain an increase in yield of maize hybrids. The aim was to evaluate the agronomic performance of transgenic Bt maize hybrids under different spacing. The experiment was implemented in randomized blocks with treatments organized in a factorial, being three transgenic Bt maize hybrids (Impact, Penta and Status) combined with three rows spacing (0.45, 0.70 and 0.90 m) with four replications. The Penta hybrid was better in relation to grain yield, if compared to Status and Impact. The spacing of 0.45 m resulted in higher yield, when compared to 0.70 and 0.90 m.
