CDDP affecting immunity function in gastric cancer rats

Abstract:

CDDP is an important antitumour drug. In the study, gastric cancer model studies were performed using wistar rats. Rats were randomly grouped (n=8 per group): normal control, model control, and two CDDP treatment groups. Rats in model control group were intraperitoneally injected with 5 × 106 8GC823 cells per rats. Rats in CDDP treatment groups were intraperitoneally injected with 5 × 106 8GC823 cells per rats and CDDP (30 mg or 45 mg/kg). Results showed that CDDP could enhance serum IgA, IgM, IgG, CD4+ , IL-2, NK levels, decreased CD8+ levels in gastric cancer rats. CDDP could inhibit tumour growth in a dose-dependent manner in gastric cancer rats. It can be concluded that CDDP may enhance immunity function and decrease tumour growth in gastric cancer rats.
