Abstract:

The method of seeding migration trajectory extraction and the relationship between the trajectory and positive pressure of pneumatic precision metering device for rapeseed have been studied based on high speed camera and image processing technique. Using 500 fps camera grabbing the seeding process at different positive pressure, the trajectory points have been extracted through frame-subtraction algorithm and the fitting curve of second order has been calculated by least square method through which the initial seeding velocity vector can be reckoned. Experimental data statistics and analysis indicate that at the same positive pressure the expectations of initial horizontal speed Vx0, vertical initial velocity Vy0, initial velocity V0 and the angle α between the V0 and Vx0 obey normal distribution. The positive pressure in range of 0-600 Pa and the expectation of horizontal seeding velocity in range of 0-42 cm/s have significant linear relationships (R = 0.989). The variance of Vy0 is larger than that of Vx0, and the expectation is from the start of line speed of planter plate from 9.03 to 30 cm/s with the change of positive pressure. The angle decreases with the positive pressure increasing, which further indicates that the impact on Vx0 is larger than that on Vy0 at the same increase of positive pressure. This research is very useful and necessary to optimize the structure of guiding pipe of precision metering device in different working conditions, to solve the detection of loss-sowing of precision metering device for small size seed in field.
