Abstract:

The results presented in this paper are obtained within the framework of the research involving among other things a database integrated application for the field data collection about the soil moisture status. This information is useful for studying crops development, soil erosion, landslide risks, soil structure and others. It is an interdisciplinary project based specially on the experiments and measurements collected from certain sites from Romania, where we developed our research. We will also present details about the database where the field data are stored and the first level of data analysis and graphical representation.
