Offering a practical model for identifying of entrepreneurial opportunity : The case study of fish industries

Abstract:Regarding to the importance of opportunities identifying in entrepreneurial process, in this research, a new practical model for identifying of entrepreneurial opportunities has been applied. The purpose of this model is to identify the de facto opportunities in different industries that eventually helps the development of new and de facto businesses. This model includes two aspects: the superficial and the depth one. In the superficial aspect, the variety of businesses is investigated which makes the innovative and radical opportunities, and the depth aspect shows the number of imitative and incremental businesses. By interview to fisheries experts about the method of identifying the entrepreneurial opportunities in this industry, this model, as a practical model resulted in acceptable and satisfactory conclusions.
