Abstract:

This research was conducted in 2007-2009 in Zahak Research Station of Sistan region, Iran. The experimental design was a completely randomized block with three replications. Twenty grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) cultivars were used in this study to find the high yielding cultivars. The grain yields of the cultivars varied between 972.5-5928 kg ha-1 in this investigation. There were statistically significant differences found in all the studied parameters among the cultivars. The results showed that KGS11 and KGS12 were the highest yielding cultivars among all the 20 studied cultivars under Sistan region.
