Abstract:

GERT is an acronym for Graphical Evaluation and Review Technique. It provides a method of modeling, simulating and solving a wide range and simplex large-scale system problems. This method of modeling allows the analysis of complex system characterized by a high degree of interaction between system components. In this study, the GERT networks were modified to use as a powerful tool for efficient designing of agricultural mechanization projects and these projects were modeled and simulated through them. In addition, the operation of allocating resources to activities was carried out by means of breaking the mother activities of the project into smaller ones. This issue with more details was utilized in agricultural system of Tabriz Plain, Iran, in mechanized production of wheat project and the project was modeled and simulated by GERT networks. The simulated model seems to be a suitable device for perfect planning, scheduling, coordinating and managing.
