Abstract:

Agriculture, as basic and vital part of economy, is providing food and raw material for other sectors. If this sector works effectively, it will pave the ground for the promotion in other sectors, and lead to the progress of other sectors and the country towards development and progress. Agriculture sector, due to low efficiency and out of control risks, always needed several supportive tools along with inexpensive facilities; therefore, the driving force in private sector’s investment in agricultural sector is very strong support of the government through infrastructural investments. In addition, targeted increase for facilities can improve investments in the agricultural sector. The share of agricultural investment, from the entire investments in the country, is very low, and does not provide the sector’s needs. This article is intended to address this issue, and in the end, present solutions to develop domestic investment and attract foreign investment, in a form suitable to our local conditions.
