Science is both a body of knowledge and a process. Science is a process of discovery that allows us to link isolated facts into coherent and comprehensive understandings of the natural world. Science is a way of discovering what's in the universe and how those things work today, how they worked in the past, and how they are likely to work in the future. Scientists are motivated by the thrill of seeing or figuring out something that no one has before. It can be used to develop new technologies, treat diseases and deal with many other sorts of problems. Science is continually refining and expanding our knowledge of the universe, and as it does, it leads to new questions for future investigation. Science will never be "finished."
Discovery is the act of detecting something new, or something "old" that had been unrecognized as meaningful. With reference to sciences and academic disciplines, discovery is the observation of new phenomena, new actions or new events and providing new reasoning to explain the knowledge gathered through such observations with previously acquired knowledge from abstract thought and everyday experiences. A discovery may sometimes be based on earlier discoveries, collaborations or ideas. Some discoveries represent a radical breakthrough in knowledge or technology.
The global warming is the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of the earth's climate system and its related effects. Over the past 50 years, the average global temperature has increased at the fastest rate in recorded history. Each year, many scientists agree that environmental, economic and health consequences are likely to occur if current trends continue. Specifically, the cause of global warming is the increasing quantity of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere produced by human activities, like the burning of fossil fuels or deforestation. These activities produce large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions which are causing global warming. Increasing temperatures around the world are making arid and semi-arid areas even drier than before. Moreover, around the world, snow and ice is melting at a much faster pace than in the past. And finally, it has caused this by affecting the oceans in two ways: warmer average temperatures cause ocean waters to expand and the accelerated melting of ice and glaciers increase the amount of water in the oceans.
An economy is an area of the production, distribution or trade and consumption of goods and services by different agents in a given geographical location in various countries. Economic agents can be individuals, businesses, organizations, or governments. Economic activity is spurred by production which uses natural resources, labor and capital. The economic domain is a social domain of human practices and transactions. There are three types of economy: a market-based economy, where goods and services are produced and exchanged according to demand and supply, a command-based economy, where political agents directly control what is produced and how it is sold and distributed, and a green economy, where the growth income and employment are driven by public and private investments that reduce carbon emissions and pollution, enhance energy and resource efficiency, and prevent the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
Finance is a broad term that describes two related activities: the study of how money is managed and the actual process of acquiring needed funds. Because individuals, businesses and government entities all need funding to operate, the field is often separated into three sub-categories: personal finance, corporate finance and public finance. These three categories are concerned with activities such as pursuing sound investments, obtaining low-cost credit, allocating funds for liabilities and banking.
