VIII International Symposium on Seed, Transplant and Stand Establishment of Horticultural Crops

Dear colleagues, researchers, students, advisors and other professionals!

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th International Symposium on Seed,Transplant and Stand Establishment of Horticultural Crops (SEST2018), which will be held under the XXX International Horticultural Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, on 12-16 August 2018.  The primary aim of the symposium is to promote research and other activities related to seeds and transplants, biotic and abiotic aspects in seed viability and seedling growth, grafting and other practices that could improve the establishment of a healthy and vigorous crop from seed. 

The symposium will be an excellent platform to interact with researchers and colleagues from many different countries who are working on various aspects of seed and transplant quality. It will also provide opportunities to explore strategies and possibilities, discuss problems, new technologies and methods related to seeds and transplants. The symposium will be comprised of plenary and ordinary sessions and poster display sessions. One day field trip to seed and transplant companies in Bursa – one of the most beautiful cities in Turkey – is also planned.

Furthermore, we endeavor to offer a high-quality interesting program during the symposium with renowned keynote speakers, as well as an attractive social program.
