LEGAL NOTICE ON OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
Ownership and intellectual property rights of all materials, including policy and copyright of all published articles, journals, books, chapters, materials, texts, data, illustrations, photos and logos contained in the websites of WFL Publisher wflpublisher.com shall belong to WFL Publisher. Copyright law worldwide protects the materials.
The materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed or published without an explicit prior written permission of WFL Publisher, and or in the case of third party materials, the copyright holder of that material.
WFL Publisher does not allow any misuse of the WFL Publisher’s services, logos (trademark), trade name, staff names, contents of the website, photos, texts, publication, contents of the publications, e-mails, addresses, or any other materials, products, data or any matter related to WFL Publisher´s website or activities.
The publications (article, reports, journals, books, notes, announcements, etc.) can be used for research purposes only. It is prohibited to save or archive publications in any fashion (physically or electronically). No part of the publications will be published in any formats strictly forbidden and not allowed to resell and or misuse or save in some non-scientific servers any materials, articles or journals published in the website of WFL Publisher. We neither give permission nor authorization for such use. Please report such cases.
WFL Publisher, however, encourages scientists, teachers, students, experts or decision makers to use all published articles or materials in our journals or books as a scientific source and to cite them indicating full references and source notes to the extent that is possible, while submitting articles to our journals, as well as, to other journals or books.
In order to provide the scientific community with news or information, WFL Publisher allows academicians or experts to report all information or abstracts published in this site (wflpublisher.com) in research database sites, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, social service networks, courses, meetings or events (Author notification).
WFL Publisher is a science publisher and not an indexing agency, we neither index articles nor give any impact factor to journal(s), this has never been our task and it is absolutely not our work. Few of the publications of the WFL Publisher are indexed in other international systems and we allow them to do so. There is absolutely no guarantee on when, how and if publications will appear or not in any indexing system ( the journal impact factor). More information can be found in the journal policy.
Authors surely do not submit their articles just because the journal is indexed / abstracted or not, but rather to provide the scientific community with high quality contributions and recent findings on some specific subject areas. This will help many scientists to get acquainted with ongoing research projects. All accepted manuscripts are published online under appropriate sections and according to the journal policy and writing instructions.
A private person, scientist, teacher, student etc. may make single copies of the published article for his or her personal, private, non-commercial use in accordance with Section 12 of the Copyright Act of Finland. The copies thus made may not be used for any other purposes.

WFL Publisher forbids any and all abuse of information or services provided in the web service of WFL Publisher.
Notice and Takedown Policy
WFL Publisher is not liable for content provided by third parties (“content producers”) to the websites of WFL Publisher. Such content is under the sole responsibility of the person who originated the content. However, if you think that your copyright protected work has been used in a way that might be a copyright infringement, please send a written takedown request by regular mail to the following address:

The takedown request must include the following information:
- Name and contact information;
- An itemization of the material, for which takedown is requested, and details of the location of the material;
- Confirmation that the material which the takedown request concerns, is in your sincere opinion illegally accessible in the WFL Publisher’s websites;
- Identify in sufficient detail the legal grounds for the takedown request;
- Information concerning the fact that you have in vain submitted your request to the content producer or that the content producer could not be identified;
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your takedown request is accurate and that you are the right holder or entitled to act on behalf of the right holder;
- Signature
The takedown request, which does not meet these requirements, is invalid on the basis of the Finnish Act on Provision of Information Society Services. Upon receipt of the valid takedown request the material should be temporarily removed from the WFL Publisher website.
The copy of the takedown request will be forwarded to the content producer who has provided the allegedly infringing content. If the content producer considers the takedown request as groundless, he or she must deliver a plea to the notifying party within 14 days of receiving the notification. A copy of the plea must be delivered to the WFL Publisher.
The plea must include:
- Name and contact information;
- An itemization of the material for which the takedown request is considered groundless
- The facts and other reasons under which the takedown request is considered groundless
- Signature
Whether WFL Publisher will return the material to the website on the basis of the plea or not, is in the sole discretion of the WFL Publisher. Please note that groundless or fraudulent takedown requests may lead to liability for damages caused and other legal consequences. The WFL Publisher is neither responsible for any problem that may occur between Author(s) or the corresponding Author, scientist’s arguments, authors or co-authors or other Third-party for the data or information or results, co-author’s names and/ or affiliation(s); for fraud, or plagiarism or related problems or papers already published elsewhere. The corresponding Author(s) are fully responsible for such problems and hold their full responsibility as they must respect the scientific publishing ethics. WFL Publisher is not responsible for any claims or complaints from others or with Third-party (by signing the j. copyright form. Author(s), will assume all the risks and willing to pay all compensations and costs and fees to the Third-party if pursued by a court of law or vice-versa. The WFL Publisher reserves the right to cancel at any time, any services if not suitable or appropriate.
Privacy Policy
WFL Publisher may collect personal data that identifies you when you communicate with us and send information to us, i.e when subscribing for the journal or purchasing products or services from WFL Publisher. The personal data collected may include, among other things, your name, address, telephone number, birth date, billing and delivery information, email address and credit card or other bank account number. You may manage your personal data by contacting us. When collecting, using, disclosing, retaining or otherwise processing your personal data, WFL Publisher will comply with the privacy and data security laws of Finland.
Publishing a scientific paper is inherently a public process. We wish to serve the scientific community as well as we can. Therefore, the names, affiliation and email addresses of authors who publish their work(s) in the WFL Service will be made available to visitors or users of the website.
Furthermore, we generally process the data with the goal of improving our service and ensuring its security. Collecting your data serves to provide you with user-friendly and secure internet services.
Unfortunately, no internet service can be guaranteed to be 100 % secure. WFL Publisher cannot guarantee or warrant 100 % security of any information you will send to our service. WFL publisher shall do its best endeavours to implement all commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information against unauthorized use.
WFL publisher will not allow courier or post companies, bank staff or any other third party to open client’s or company’s mails or parcels or letters or any confidential documents that could violate the rights and privacies of the users of the service. Furthermore, WFL publisher will not allow any violation of phone conversations, email contents or messages, addresses, attached files or any other related matters. Emails and files that are attached to emails are strictly confidential and solely for the use of the intended recipient. Violation of correspondence confidentiality may be a criminal act according to the Finnish laws.

From time to time WFL Publisher publishes articles that are tagged as freely available. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of these articles without asking prior permission from the WFL Publisher. Users are required to mention the full and complete source of the information, names of Authors, references and link of the JFAE. It is strictly forbidden and not allowed to resell or misuse these articles or any related information for commercial use.
User Obligations
You agree to respect the scientific publishing ethics. It is strictly forbidden and not allowed to misuse services or any information published in the WFL Publisher websites.
When reporting information such as abstracts, articles or related scientific materials, you must always cite the full reference and the source of the information such as the full name of the Author(s), the journal name (Journal of Food, Agriculture and Environment – JFAE), j. Volume number, j. issue number, the date or year of the publication, page numbers and related references beside a link of the WFL Publisher home page correctly.
The web service of WFL Publisher may be used only for lawful purposes. You warrant that you comply with all applicable national and international laws and regulations with respect to use of the WFL Publisher websites and services. You must at all times give true and accurate information to WFL Publisher when using the websites and services. If any false or inaccurate information is submitted by you, WFL Publisher reserves the right to terminate your access and use of the websites and services.
In the event that the user becomes aware of any actual or suspected unauthorized use or infringement of any material (including any Intellectual Property Rights thereto), the user is requested to promptly notify WFL Publisher about the matter.
Personal login information etc.
Certain sites of WFL Publisher are available only with registration, login and paid subscription. You agree to keep your login and password information confidential and take all reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality, such as login off and closing of the browser when leaving the site, especially if you are using an unsecured network or a public computer (i.e. computers in libraries, schools, etc.). WFL Publisher has no responsibility for the conduct, content or operation of those websites, or any information, news or purchases that you make from them. In all cases, your dealings with those websites will be subject to their own terms and conditions. Links to third party websites are provided for information only. A link does not imply an endorsement of third party site; likewise, not linking to a particular site does not imply lack of endorsement.
We do announce from time to time some scientific meetings, events, news or vacancies to update the scientific community. However, there is no guarantee on when, how, where and if any results and we are not responsible for the details. To be sure we ask you to verify the accuracy of information from the source carefully, and thereafter, you decide.
Governing law and dispute resolution
WFL Publisher Ltd is incorporated in Finland and has its place of business in Finland. WFL Publisher is registered in the Trade Register of Finland. These Terms and Conditions and all matters regarding the use of WFL Publisher websites and services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or regarding the use of WFL Publisher websites and services shall be settled under the exclusive jurisdiction of Finland.
WFL Publisher has used a legal counsel to prepare these Terms and Conditions. WFL Publisher will use a legal counsel if any controversies arise.
Disclaimer
WFL Publisher endeavour to provide the best possible service it can, but you understand and agree to that, the use of WFL Publisher websites, products and services is done solely at your own risk.
